First Edition
This week three big parcels arrived in the office. I was really excited because the first edition of my “Kunst im Werk” art collection catalogue got delivered: 30 books with dust jackets arrived properly packed. I really like turning my ideas into professional print books. I hope there will be similar projects coming up in the future – no matter if it’s about art, birthdays, music, weddings or something else...
Salzburg again and again
On the way back home from Fuschl am See we stopped a second time in Salzburg. We walked around the streets to do a little exploring and to hunt some original Mozartkugeln again. I did not only fell in love with those sweets, but also with the architecture of this city. So stunning!
Everyday Cards
Handwriting fascinates me. I’m still one of those people who like to write personal cards and letters to friends. Sometimes it’s difficult to find nice everyday cards in stores, so I created my own customized pack. All cards are printed on a thick premium quality paper with a textured eggshell finish. They come along with matching warm white envelops to hopefully bring joy to the receivers.
Preview Session
I’m really proud to be part again of “Kunst im Werk” - a project to encourage artistic happenings in the local area of Althofen. This year the Franco-Moroccan singer Hindi Zahra will give a concert in one of our factory buildings. On Thursday we had a preview session in Klagenfurt where people could gather information about the concert and win tickets. It was lovely to capture the relaxed atmosphere in a great location called ParkHaus.
Sunset Star
Lately I visited Cooph (the Cooperative of Photography) and spent some time in Fuschl am See. My hotel was directly located at the lake. It was the first time that I could watch the sunrise and sunset straight from the bed of the hotel room. What a view! I could definitely get used to it.
A lovely place to stay
If you are interested in culture Salzburg is the perfect place to be. The old town with its world famous baroque architecture is best-preserved and great to discover. The weather was perfect for climbing up to the Hohensalzburg fortress which looms over the city. From above you get a great view over the whole city. As Salzburg is also the birthplace of Mozart I had to try the original Mozartkugeln for the first time and they turned out to be my favourite chocolate!
Now finally as promised I will show you another set of images from Salzburg.

Salzburg
Last week’s schedule was filled with a busy travelling plan. Luckily there was still some spare time in one of the cities I visited and I was able to do what I love most: taking pictures. It was a lovely Sunday in Salzburg, spring has arrived and the city was blooming. I loved being there, capturing the beauty of this amazing city in my own way. I returned home with many pictures on my memory card and in the next few days I would like to show you my favourite impressions.
Festive occasion
Lately my cousin celebrated one of his milestone birthdays in a cottage in the Austrian mountains. It was a very special evening with funky music, great atmosphere and enthusiastic dancing till dawn.
Such moments need to be captured: I created a softcover book - featuring a warm textured eggshell cover and 100% recycled interior matte pages - which is easy to take along and show to friends and relatives. It always makes me very happy to hand over heart-based products.
And my resurrection...
Happy Easter! Have joyful days!
Things are getting better.
It's all about art!
It’s done! During the last months I created an art collection catalogue for a company.
It was my biggest and most exciting project so far: starting from getting new gear, doing research, creating layouts and actually having focus on arts!
The outcome of this project is a 100-page book with a dust jacket and a brochure with detailed descriptions of the art collection. I am really grateful that I got this commission; it was very interesting and informative.
We are all Wonder Women...
Happy International Women's Day!
I'd like to dedicate this blog entry to all the women of all ages in my life who encourage me to believe in myself and in my dreams.
Especially I would like to thank my lovely sister: She is so smart, beautiful, funny and my inspiration.
